- Please note that it is essential for delegates to register for CANEX WKND before proceeding with their visa application process. It is important to understand that this registration confirmation does not guarantee visa approval.
- However, completing your registration through this platform will assist Organizers to facilitate visa application process. Once you have successfully registered for CANEX WKND 2024, you will receive an automated visa invitation letter that can be used for your application. If you encounter any difficulties accessing your account, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@creativeafricanexus.com. Please allow 10 business days from receiving the letter before contacting the Embassy to ensure time for facilitation.

It is the responsibility of each individual travelling to Algeria to meet the correct visa requirements.
The information below is to assist you in obtaining your visa as efficiently as possible.
All delegates must hold a valid passport or travel document with a minimum validity of 6 months from date of departure.
Citizens of the following countries do NOT require a visa:
Libya, Malaysia, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Seychelles and Tunisia
All applicants must provide;
- Original Passport, with validity for minimum 6 months;
- Photocopy of passport;
- Visa Application Form duly completed and typed clearly (in triplicate);
- (03) three coloured passport-sized photos, pasted on visa forms;
- Copy of two ways flight booking;
- Hotel confirmation
Citizens from other countries not mentioned above need to obtain an entry visa through Algerian Embassies or consulates in their countries and should apply at least 3 weeks before travelling to Algeria. A visa letter will be provided through the online registration system.
Members of your delegation may also apply for visas at the Algerian Embassy/High Commission in their country of residence. Only in case of non-presence of an Algerian Embassy/High Commission in the country of residence are delegates requested to contact the Events team via the following email: info@creativeafricanexus.com

Accreditation procedure for journalists and foreign media wishing to cover events
Accreditation procedure for journalists and foreign media wishing to cover events in Algeria:
The regulations on accreditation procedures for professional journalists working for foreign media organizations stipulate that the accreditation application “must be submitted to the Algerian diplomatic mission or consular representation at least 15 days before the journalist's arrival in Algeria”.
The accreditation application consists of the following documents:
- A form issued by the Algerian diplomatic mission or consular representation, duly completed by the applicant;
- A request from the professional journalist's employer;
- A photocopy of the journalist's professional card;
- Two (02) passport photos;
- Copy of passport;
- Journalists must also include in their application a list of all audiovisual and technical equipment in their possession, in order to facilitate the processing of applications for the temporary importation of such equipment.
It should be emphasized that communication officers or press attachés accompanying official delegations are not subject to the accreditation procedure, but must provide a list of all equipment in their possession.
