Gamuchirai Moyo is a seasoned Banker, championing business development for the MANSA Digital Initiative, focusing on onboarding African entities on the MANSA Digital Repository Platform, designed to bring global visibility for Financial Institutions, Corporates, and SMEs. As part of the broader mandate in promoting trade, Gamuchirai is championing the MANSA Curriculum aimed at empowering various stakeholders in matters relating to global trade and compliance. She carries a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience acquired through two decades of banking experience covering economics, accounting, finance, bank supervision, compliance, systems & control processes, and business management, having worked for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe in the Economics and Bank Supervision Divisions before transiting to NMB Bank Limited where she supported in setting up a compliance function before joining Afreximbank in 2020. Gamuchirai has recently successfully led the implementation of four (4) ISO Standards in which MANSA is certified including ISO 27001-Information Security; ISO 20000- Service Management; ISO 22301- Business Continuity; ISO 27701-Data Privacy). Her role as a liaison officer for the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) has seen Afreximbank accorded a Candidate status towards accreditation as a Local Operating Unit (LOU). Her qualifications, skills, and expertise speak to dedication, hard work, focus, and lifelong learning.
