About the Speaker

Chef Rabah Ourrad is a distinguished culinary expert with a multifaceted career. Born in Hussein Dey, Algeria, Chef Ourrad initially gained fame as a rapper with the acclaimed group MBS. His passion for culinary arts led him to pursue formal training in Paris and London, working in prestigious restaurants such as Sketch under Pierre Gagnaire.

Returning to Algeria, Chef Ourrad now leads the renowned restaurant Mim, located at the M-Suite Hotel in Algiers. Under his leadership, Mim has earned significant acclaim, including recognition at the Special Méditerranée 2023 awards in Monaco by LA LISTE 1001. Chef Ourrad is known for his innovative approach to Algerian cuisine, blending traditional flavors with modern techniques to create exceptional dining experiences.
